a reason I can't really stand this pirate freighter much is that going back and forth between saves carries the bridge over, so my venator will have the pirate bridge with only one teleporter and it'll be detached and everything/vice versa

I propose compromise. Portals arent locked but if you enter an invalid address it sends you to a random system, favoring directions further from the core

hm this mod is a pain in the ass. adds a bunch of cool buildables, like huge ones - can build entire trade post, space station, etc in one part. but some objects can't be moved/removed once placed without exiting the game, loading a separate removal mod, going back in, deleting the part, closing the game to swap mods back...ive just been saving my game before placing objects and reloading if theyre stuck

Euclid is like the big city. Everyone's there. The next 10 galaxies or so are like the countryside. The unexplored wilds.

The Galaxies past that are the great unknown. Go some random place and carve out a path knowing it's unlikely anyone will ever be anywhere near it ever again.
