You can simulate a large open room in a Corvette fairly easily. By making a hollowed out space in the middle. Corvette parts or habs for the ceilings and floors. Freighter wall panels and decorations for the walls to enase it all in.

if youre on pc you can copy your save to a different save slot and delete your bases on that save so you can rebuild with all of your stuff still unlocked. i did it the other day and it worked fine

You mean for your character? You unlock a few during expeditions, some you can buy for quicksilver or other things and a few you unlock from side quests

I am never sorting all my stuff by name or color or type. Those sort options are pretty useless unless you just use your entire inventory as a junk drawer with no dedicated placement, relying solely on the sorting options to find things.

When I arrange my inventory I want things to always go to the same places, evven when I run out

You're cutting off at least 10 seconds on the entire process for the whole landing and take off animations. Longer if it's got a transform animation attached to it.

I've a lift bay behind the cockpit, it isn't necessary the slowest since I no longer need to land which some spots won't allow you coz "unable to land"

I used that lift like you wouldn't believe, a free 360 degree view/faster exiting.
