There's an option in the expedition terminal to copy your multi-tool and ship into the expedition

Any multi-tools or ships that you claim in the expedition can also be transferred to your main save the same way.

If you find a ship that you want to put into your main sace you will not lose the ship that you brought with you. It will still be in your main save.

You can do either or. But using your normal save allows you to go in a little bit better equipped. Than completely fresh

Also take some solar mirrors and quantum computers with you. You going to need about a half dozen this expo

I was talking to a buddy of mine he said that nms is competitive but he told me that u can easily change the difficulty settings to “free” when u are purchasing items. Wouldn’t this be considered cheating or am I just stupid 😂 like it just gives the advantage to have everything u want then change the setting back to normal.

Some people play in creative or relaxed. It's a sandbox, there isn't much real " cheating"

i don't know WHERE they got that, but it's a game where you literally can turn off all costs and hazards if you want to. there's no meaningful way to "cheat" in this game

No ranking systems, no leaderboards, no forced competition where battling with other players...... whoever says no man's sky is competitive its probably just upset that their Corvettes don't look as good as somebody else's 😭

and there's quite literally no competitive aspect to this game whatsoever. pvp is...technically a thing, but most people only ever engage with it accidentally, you don't earn anything by killing other players

some people did! it's, again, up to the individual player how they want to do it

some people want to just save-edit the ships they want into their game, some people like the grind, some people build giant corvettes with free purchases and crafting turned on and some people painstakingly find each and every piece they need to build it.
