You can't craft them, but you can buy them in most trade terminals.
If you have crappy upgrade modules that you don't need, you can install those and destroy them and you will often get a free wiring loom.

Glass stars are system ID 3E8. Take any portal address and replace the first 4 glyphs with sun, dino, tree, fly and it will take you to take that regions glass star.
When you look at the galaxy map, the star will have a different name from on planet in in your discoveries. That is the (old) shadow star.

You cannot reach the shadow star from a portal, if you warp to a neighbour star and back again, the system will be different than the glass star (which is not on the map)

previous is because there is two shadows stars per region. one for the main sequence YRGB stars and one for the prime sequence purple stars. look at the gfx. 2 shadows stars

if you have a portal base, put as the first 4 glyphs. then go in and look at the system you ended up in on the galactic map

bonus points if you warp to the system you see on the map (third unrelated system, then go back), grab the glyphs for it, and then try to portal to it under the assumption you go back to your portal and punch in its glyphs. it should be an invalid address, i.e. shadow star

yea, going from b to a removes the barriers. its only b class on all the ones in this settlement. also- the bazaar and market have vendors at c class but nobody in the other 3 classes
