Those exotic worlds with just one or two animals on it are great for nanite farming. Because when you scan all the animals on a single planet you can claim a nanite bonus.

When you have scanned all the animals go to its Discovery section and you'll be able to claim your reward at the top of the fauna list.

I have pugneum and glass shards, etc for days.
You can farm them at different levels if you don't kill all the guys in the wave, then the next wave wont start. So you can farm quads or w/e.
