Works for corvettes as well. It even has a grid to tell you which way the cockpit should be pointing, And the way you import/export corvettes, is the same as bases in the save editor. The difference is, that the corvette file is going to say "PlayerShipBase"
Does that mean you can get rid of the cockpit model entirely?

survival mode is harder and has a various restrictions from inventory to how much fuel usage thing use, health limits, etc

creative mode is more chilled or relaxed with little to no challenge.

Then you have survival permadeth which is game over if you die for any reason.

there is way toswitch between bases. IT became more apparent with corvette, because corvette always overlaps wiht ground base

On PC it's go into build mode (Z), switch to edit mode (C), press Y (you may spot menu chage), RIGHT_CLICK to go back. If you use Z, it won't stick

The base switching in building mode has been around forever, but most people never experience it unless they are using a mod to extend base radius. The UI is, indeed, not well designed

For as old as this game is, and given the upgrades it's gotten over the years, this is actually a pretty hefty game.

My son's computer could barely run it, and it ran Destiny just fine.

I do wish those places would allow for more than three items trade in. The ratio of incoming artifacts to trade-ins is way off. Even opening that third corridor below and using both on the main walkway to increase to five would help.
