If you have an S class freighter, and then expand the cargo as much as you can - that's 120 cargo slots. Then you have 10 storage units each with 50. And then you can have 12 active ships (s class minimum of 100 cargo) and also your suit and Exocraft

Dreadnought battles may seem daunting at first, but you can prevent them from running away by breaking their legs destroying the 4 warp engines in the back. Once you destroy all of it's anti-freighter cannons or fuel rods, it will surrender

You cannot call your freighter in vicinity of another freighter

You can even claim the dreadnought for free

Once it surrenders

Aside from destroying dreadnoughts fast... the derelict way is at least reliable, although it won't guarantee S-class modules
