you can find crashed starships using distress beacon charts, purchased from a space station. Eventually, the game will direct you to a way to find a downed sentinel interceptor too and those ships are quite good, especially early game

I'm actually using a few mods, but can be done with glitching. its just the base floors and the two cranes that would need glitching. you can park by your ground base and get the build to overlap so you can place the floors and cranes that way.

you can use the wood palettes from the autophage stuff as decking, you get that in the regular interior stuff, so you don't have to glitch. you can also make cranes from the robot arms that are also in the normal interior menus. some stuff i had to place a poster down to create a spot to place things like wires in odd spots, but that's not glitching.

Gas giants can only be found in purple star systems, and players must complete the main storyline quests to gain access to them, A maximum of one giant planet can appear in a star system. If one generates, no other full-sized planets will spawn in that system.
