You have to go to your freighter with your main ship and then the ship will be there then you will get into the ship to make it your main ship and then use your teleporter you have on your freighter to teleport to a space station and the damaged ship will teleport there with you

MetalFX is an upscaling technique, much like DLSS or FSR; and works very well to be honest. There should be no need to turn it off; doing so will hurt performance for you.
