Oxygen lets you basically duplicate tons of stuff. For ferrite youd refine it to pure ferrite, then refine that with oxygen to get rusted metal and refine that. you end up with 4x the ferrite you started with

sf just has more ship parts i think and mods that add even more ship parts. and more daily living type of decorations. but the ships them selves with the no loading, walking on the outside and "space swimming", the ease of the build are on the stations when exiting to view your ship in Realtime....nms is yea way better

Keep it, at least for now; that would be my advice. If you are in your first hours, use it, even if you don't like it. It's a multitool, will work nicely for you.

It was an Expedition reward: if you won it, you can claim it in each new save. But yah, until (or if) that Expedition is replayed, it is not available otherwise, though if you try, you can make your own that looks like it, I think.

Not that simple, staves are something that comes in late game.
Keep it, you don't need to use it if you don't want it: there are a few slots for multitools, you can use your first one 😅

I think you're stressing about it too much. Just use another multitool if you don't like it. Destroying it won't get you much anyway.
