Normally you get one quicksilver mission per day, that mission can be used either for nexus at the anomaly or as a corvette mission

If you don't do that mission in a given day it carries over to the next and you can do 2, it stacks up to 3 + potentially mission for that day if you had 3 stacked, so 4 total of you wait 4+ days.

I guess it's more of "quicksilver mission opportunity" than a specific mission

When you're standing, you can scan like normal and mark components with your visor. Then, sit back down, and blast the area. Most stuff is close enough to the surface that the ship weapon will blast it, at which point it's added to your inventory

Find the Dissonance Resonators which you can see with your Analysis Visor. It's a rare drop so you may have to destroy a handful of them before you finally get one. Those little 4 legged sentinels around it also have a chance to drop it.

Well, for biota variety, the only way to truly do that via proc gen is literally simulating evolution, and that is really heavy on cpus

When you enter an undiscovered system and land on a planet, your character is setting their foot in a place no player has ever been to. Every planet is technically unique; it has a unique seed. To some people, that's a very exciting prospect.

There are some very specific things to look for when trying to find the mechafauna:

• You must be in an Uncharted system (Red, Blue, Green stars, preferably in Red).
• After scanning the system either via Freighter or by landing on the planets:
• Either select the Exploration Guide in your logs to check how many fauna species are on that planet.
• Or look at the hint at the bottom right hand side of the screen after scanning anything on the planet while exploration guide is selected from the logs.
• Or look into the Discovery tab to find the total number of creatures.
  The planet must have 4 animal species.

• Mechafauna can be tamed, ridden, the quadrupeds can be decorated on their chest.
• Creature Pellets can be used to tame them, but only with Automated Feeders. Direct interaction uses an Ion Battery, and they produce chewy wire instead of organic materials.
• They lay eggs that can be genetically modified in the Egg Sequencer. A list of items used to change the quadruped colors can be found here #nms-fauna message
