If you see that tiny skull, that is pirate controlled using a normal ship

i find that gargling water makes the hiccups stop. one hypothesis for why hiccups happen is it's a reawakening of the vestigial gill-breathing instinct from our aqueous deep-ancestry. so i started playing NMS last week, as i'm sure many have. So far I love absolutely everything I've encountered about the game... except for ONE THING:
Despite all the fantastical, near-MAGICAL technology extant in the No Man's Sky universe, apparently we lack the ability to make a basic QOL utility analogous to Google Maps for each planet -.-
Do you REALIZE how much this would aid in the "Exploration" pillar, ACTUALLY????
Few things make me want to go see what's in a place more than knowing I haven't been there yet
I DESPERATELY CRAVE to color in a representative globe of various planets one region at a time like a big ole POI pylon jigsaw puzzle

ya total gamechanger. i use a few restrictive rules too such as no free freighter,no teleporters at all(as it trivializes many ingame mechanics) and the backbone of my mods increase damage and costs. the grind is real but you feel like you earned it all and face many more times in danger, compounding PD mode onto that really gives many exhilirating experiences and makes u appreciate "quite time" back at base

I get to rondevue 5 on the weekdays, stacking up saves then when the weekend event hits I spam the hell outta it and then from rondevue 5 I got 1200 quicksilver and the event gives me 1800 so I got 3000 plus the 400 from the dailys. It saves the bought quicksilver items on all my saves

Ok so for a corvette, when you get to a planet you dont need to land, you can just come to a stop...i dont know the max elevation but i usually stop 30-200u above the planet. Open the quick menu and select leave pilot seat, from there you can either teleport down or just jump out the ship as you see fit. The ship will stay where you left it with a teleport beacon directly under it to get back up

the floating islands you have there are part of terrain gen. The higher waterfall ones are biome specific. There are a few biomes that have them, but not one with floating plants.
