I play NMS easily 5-8h, the UI goes RIP like while checking my exosuit stuff and sometimes NPC dialogues, I am on Series X and from time to time the game freezes or fully crashes in some cases. Mind you it is the only game that makes my XSX to crash like this.

So you don't have to worry about stuff. like copper and chromatic metal is used freaking everywhere to put techs together or upgrades.
You can either visit planet after planet or find one preferably with Class S deposit, claim a base with mineral extractor and only visit it to collect.
fresh cactus is used for more high tech upgrades, gravitino ball that triggers the sentinels can all be harvested (botanic)

You spend more time enjoying the game and less time having to manually mine stuff, it is a lot faster to upgrade techs with resource farm.

I found one for copper, I use copper/chromatic metal like f and close to Class A eletromagnetic field, solar panels suck a ton. Each eletromagnetic extractor is generating the same as 5x solar panel 24/7

Demand and supply, you can actually "affect" the local market by selling too much of the same stuff.
It is not my thing but you can make a lot of money by manipulating the local market, selling/buying things.

I dont think that has anything to do with the percentage scale in the corvette trade parts. I have watched it literally change the percentages to random values. One trade took X piece + A piece. The next trade for the same thing took only X to hit super close to 99. If there is some attempt for a local market effect, its not working in any logical way.

Dissonant planets that are "paradise" like this with bubbles and inverted gravity, are honeypot for resonator farming, double, 4x within 300u, as long as the planet is "paradise", it never fails so why my base is called "Harmonic Easy" 😅

This is the way, the techs are also worth 200-400 nanites each as long as you don't try them, otherwise, 16 nanites only.
I am not too crazy into economy but you can make more money selling the scraps to specific systems like economy requires scientific goods like plus 100% on the base price. I just sell everything where I am 😅

Fighting sentinels in general was a pain for me until I tried Pulse Spitter with some Class X mods, I couldn't kill the little one repairing them faster enough otherwise.

I did add the specialist in it hoping they will unlock the technologies like they did in my base, low priority tho.

I have base in one Dissonant Planet that have these "bombs" instead of the little ones with 1, 2 or 3 legs,
4-5 parts is the normal, others give you extra perks and charts.

Minotaur is heaven for crashed ship, crashed freighter and extreme weather planet, it is the main reasons I use it.
Also some planets have some annoying one eye worms that keep popping up and destroy your health until you kill the right one, I dislike those thing so freaking much.

Easy!!
On the freighter, go to the bridge and store all the ships, you must have way too many and you also must leave space for the NPC ships.
Get out far way from the freighter, summon it and that will make the ship show up.
I have scrapped so many ships, this will happen when I do too many at once.
Always leave space for the NPC ships and this won't happen again.

Single player mode is esentially "i will host my own game", but you can invite people to your group and turn on multiplayer whenever you want

Multiplayer is "i will join someone else"

No. There are portals (the ones you use glyphs at to go to any system you have the coordinates from), and there are teleporters (those are the blue ones in space stations and bases).

When I read that players were messing with other people's base, I deleted my base from here and tried to find that menu so badly.
I can access access players base, from time to time when accessing the Space Station teleport, it shows me community favourite bases and I can actually warp to it so why went crazy deleting everything.

All my interactions with the ship scanner so far have been the game telling me "press <whatever button> to use the ship scanner. It's been magically attuned to the thing you need and no we won't tell you how to tune it yourself"

death stranding certainly has ... things it could do better. But there are a few things it does that other games could really afford to take a page or two from. Such as, when there's a lot of player character traffic over areas of ground, the ground wears a path into it. Desire paths! I'd LOVE those in planetary settlements that show the most commonly taken routes of the settlers that directly references their NPC navigation mesh (which is something all games use to plot the movement of non-player entities) --ESPECIALLY if you could upgrade these paths with paving as the settlement develops.

I am on Xbox, if I am far away from the planet, I need to aim high for the scanner wave to hit the planet, otherwise it won't work. It is annoying.
Up close should work just fine OR if you already unlocked the free freighter and wanna farm frigate modules, you can install a scanner in it to scan all the planets at once for you. Not really the help you need right now but keep that in mind.

I don’t know what it is for Mac or Pc, for consoles it’s just press right stick to scan planets which flying, but the game should have a tooltip telling you how to scan
