No I mean like different ownable classes. All the ones you listed except the corvette are different types of starships. Like, there are basic starships, freighters, frigates, and corvettes. There are dreadnaughts as well?

all "spaceships" in the game fall under three types, based on function

• starships are your regular (for the most part) one-man ships
• freighrers are huge ships in which you can build a base and dock multiple starships. you can also use them for frigate expeditions
• frigates are smaller (but still big) ships that form your freighter's fleet, and you can send them off on expeditions
  each of these three can be further divided into sub-categories

Should I adjust my system time?

No! Messing with your system clock has the potential to break every single thing that relies on a real timer. Settlements, frigate missions, farms, mines, freighter battles and time gates such as the Starbirth Quest. Just don't do it.

On your main save

When you finish you come back with the rewards

if you start a separate save it converts to normal at the end, if you do it from the anomaly on your main then you just swap between the experiences at the anomaly station for the expedition

doing it from your main save is best option imo because it lets you copy your corvette and multitool that you acquire during the expedition

Typically people use a blackhole or a base at the space anomaly, those will almost always get you 4k away (unless you are wildly unlucky)
