You can't place a base computer inside the bounds of a settlement, but you can place it nearby and extend the base radius into the settlement

greetings travellers, i'm building an old-west style city upon three peaks on new bandera. i seek builders to construct 1-2 buildings each, as i have ran out of creativity, but not space upon which to build. two of the pillars have a pit within them, one is cordoned off but can be used to build inside, another is not. you can place a message module to indicate your building(s) are built by you, and i can offer whatever in game rewards you wish. easiest for me is ship AI cores, but name your price if you wish to charge one.

It seems they mostly only drop from corrupted sentinels or corrupted sentinel quadrupeds.

You can try and just shoot them from the safety of your corvette like I did. It seems it's treated like a base so they won't shoot you while you are inside of it.

A bit cheating but it gets the job done.

Is anyone else experiencing major collision issues in Capital Ship freighters? When I land, the airlock doors do not open and I phase right through them, the staircases have no collisions, there are duplicate NPCs that spawn in chairs out in the open, and some of the hallways have floors that I fall through. It's just really bizarre.

Limited space? Well you can upgrade your exosuit inventory at each space station or find upgrade pods you can fix up on planets. You can also use your frigate to access your storage boxes remotely if you have the item teleport upgrade on it and all the boxes built on it.

You can only use the upgrade in the space station "once". Technically after a while you can go back and it will be reset but I don't know the exact time for that or if it's just how many other space stations you visit clear it out of the cache for the game.
