I personally loved the settlements and was so excited when I discovered they were a thing. But also I love resource management and pet sims. They were hella grindy and buggy though. And I had a problem where my villagers kept getting trapped in holes and walls and becoming miserable.

when a multitool is spawned somewhere in the game it is pulled from a loot pool in that system, which has 4-5 multitools iirc. This multitool had a native class, and it can only increase or decrease by 1 when spawned (cor example, a native b class can spawn as a c, b, or a class, but not an s-class)

Ok well just in a nutshell, used to be you needed a set number of hearts. Now it’s this complex algorithm, so you don’t know whether you’ll get in, it depends on traffic at the time. So the hearts to get in varies. Which sucks if you tend to post at times when there’s less traffic, because people don’t often go back later when more are on to “heart” other people’s pics (has been my experience. So it’s just random luck, as opposed to always being great photos getting in. There was always some random luck involved but this makes random luck and timing more of a factor I think, not less (just imo)

While in the anomaly and NOT in the same group.. entering a person’s ship and hiding.. means that when they then go to warp your ship and their ship will SWAP and you cannot get yours back.

I think having a freighter building system like you have with base starships would be cool. Having the same kind of customisability for freighters that Corvettes have is kinda overkill and will get really buggy really quickly.

like i said corvettes and freighters are already pushing this game to the absolute fucking limit in terms of multiplayer syncing, and thats alongside the system and planet syncing issue that is still prevalent however many years after true multiplayer was launched, the game simply can't handle it imo
