I axtually don't know many details beyond the part where stuff can sometimes vanish based on where it was and what you were doing at the time. You might have some luck asking someone who does a lot of testing/tinkering with stuff for the wiki info or something

If you haven't played for that long, you will definitely want to keep an eye out and try to participate in expeditions as they come around. They will give you access to a lot of stuff you wouldn't have otherwise (like the golden ship) and can definitely be a great introduction to new mechanics and content as it is added cuz the expeditions usually theme towards the most recent/current update

Also keep in mind that you can take your main save into (and back out afterward) the expedition, but there are also some rewards that are earned across your entire account, so you can always start a new save for expeditions and still claim some of the good loot

the glitch way to get all the parts back is to create a new corvette at another corvette building terminal, then just go delete all the parts off your parked corvette. Cancel the build and done.. Or trade to npc

People trade/gift items to others randomly, and some of these items are worth a pretty chunk of around 1.5 mil units per 1 item in a stack of like 10 (although many of these items gifted randomly like this are just duped and sent willy nilly) so if you get a generous person here and there you can come out of the anomaly with like 2 bil units after an extended visit

Keep in mind that this does not happen all the time, so I would not recommend relying on it as your source of units, but if you are at the anomaly anyway then it can be a neat little boost to anyone who wants it. There is also the rare encounter where someone decides to gift Void Eggs to people so you could end up saving some Quicksilver as well if you need an egg

Personally, what sticks me the most to the game is the base building mechanics, they were already amazing before the Voyagers update, but now they're even better thanks to the fact we can also build in the new class of ships

As for how it differs from Star Citizen, well, i can say it does, verily, personally i havent played star Citizen, but i know some of its functions, and in the regard of what you can do within your ship, it's more or less the same thing, being able to walk inside and what's better, customize its interior to your likings

Exploration, i can say it will get you engaged, there's a good variety which after the 100th time you see a planet will get a repetitive pattern, but varied enough to keep you interested in finding new stuff, specially if exploration is your niche

You can take the path of a builder, a smuggler, maybe a pirate, or perhaps an archeologist, because indeed, you can dig fossils, and make museums with them
