How to get started with building a Corvette Ship

Note: Before starting, unlock 1 chair or sofa you can sit on, e.g. Upholstered Chair from the Space Anomaly Construction Research Station terminal.

In the Space Station, walk towards the entrance, you'll see the new landing pad area and the Corvette Workshop terminal.

How do I get additional Corvette parts?

Corvette modules can be obtained from several sources:

• Salvageable Scrap (Look for planets with that on the resource list, then use Analysis Visor to find yellow wifi icons) (see image );
• Derelict Freighters;
• Defeated Pirates;
• NPC Freighter cargo pods;
• Crashed Freighter cargo pods;
• Frigate Expeditions;
• Mission rewards;

Notes related to existing issues/bugs:

• If you can't place down a launch thruster i.e. it shows red, you have to disable free placement first (go to a base, open build menu, disable free placement);
• Don't build more than 1 landing bay, doing so breaks beaming down/up;
• If you get stuck, you can try to glitch yourself out using that chair you unlocked before you started, see image ;
• Before starting to work on your new ship, after you're in the station, update your restore point slot with a different ship, then summon your Corvette and dont sit on the pilot chair while you're building;
• Don't exit game with a Corvette equipped, to decrease chances of getting stuck inside the ship on next launch.

when you start an expedition from the anomaly, you keep your save but you're sort of transported to a sub-save where you play the expedition and start with nothing. You can bring some stuff over to that sub-save (and bring stuff back at the end) and freely switch between it and your main save.
