for now, yes. if you have questions about the basics, e.g. managing life support, hazard protection, or how does getting resources/specific resources works, what to do for units early on, etc -- always feel free to ask.

a few suggestions right out of the gate:

• options/network settings/pvp=no one
• pay special attention to the tooltips lower right of the screen when you're playing, one of these can be related to selected mission in the Log.
• tooltips can be force cycled by spam pressing H or dpad left
• when you finish a mission step/objective - wait for a few seconds, be observant, dont instantly look away: important details, tips, part of instructions, might show, disappear, and never show again.
• game isnt going anywhere, content isn't going anywhere: you have all the time in the world to get to the latest content.
• if you want some reading material, i'd suggest typing !faq in #bot-spam for a list of helpful commands we've compiled here in the server to help fellow players

here's the funniest part, we're not really a fictive heavy system, we don't get fictives (alters based on fictitious sources ie games or dnd characters) a lot and if we do they're short lived (3 days - 1 week),

Ferroan is one of the most stable fictives we have gotten ever really, and they're mostly based on our No Man's Sky character :p

how to melee jetpack: start running in the direction you want to move/jetpack in, then melee: when you see the weapon animate, press&hold (&keep holding) jetpack button. you'll carry forward running momentum into jetpacking

(basically in Satisfactory you can slide and jump in a rhythm to gain extra speed and extra height)

like you can easily get melee boost consistently even after 1-2 hours of practice

Satisfactory bunny hopping is really easy to do

you literally just hold C as you descend and then jump after about half a second to a second after hitting the ground

If you look at planet's info card and one of listed resources is rusted metal (dead biome) or gold (exotic/weird biome) then it will not have any interceptors crash sites.

And yeah, Hexagonal planets are included in what I mentioned, have gold listed as resource.
