I’m on the switch as well, I’ve learned to let the land load before attempting and it works 9/10. sadly I’ve even had this issue on Xbox it just annoys me when it happens bc landing logic makes 0 sense in this game.

yea the real fun begins with cross save shananagens i have a save that i move between my ps and my switch and if yall remember the switch 1 release of the game doesint have settlements in it so imagine my surprise when got to work (had saved at my overseer office planning to pick it up the next day on my switch) loaded the game and all of a sudden everything was gone no settlement no task milestone thingy no indication i had a settlement i even whent to the station and clicked on the settlements tab only to be greeted by the "nope" sound i was flabbergased i was terrified my settlement was gone so i quit and didnt go back at lunch but when i got home and opened it up on my pc (was still at the station it autosaved at) i whent back to the teleporter and there it was my settlement perfectly preserved as tho it was there the whole time

There are minerals in subbiomes. Caves, water , the diffrent colored ground, mountains.

There could be also biome shenanigans happening

Like you have dead / weird biomes with limited terrain assets, but still spwning caves with couple more plants / rocks in them

As i said . There was an exploit that enabled to transfer most things by jumping from save to save back and foward Ships, mt , items. But it needed to be done before expedition event ends.

I would say all non ocean planets have same max depth somewhere but it can be only 1 spot on entire planet. So it is a bit like searching for a needle in a haystack

I would say, every 4 to 5 purple systems you visit, at least 1 system will have regular planet(s) with oceans over 200u deep

Sometimes you might find deep lake planets, this is much rarer

The planet is like 90% - 95% land, but with pockets of water that goes deeper than 200u
