Calypso is galaxy 3. From Euclid, you'll have to core jump twice

And you can't use portals to jump galaxies.

Hello people! Just wanted to come here and mention that I've recently returned to NMS, since my last proper playthrough on 2020, with a save I started back in 2016. Yes, I bought the game back when it was bare and had minimal content--did enjoyed it.

Started a fresh playthrough on Normal to experience the amazing "overhauls" and boy it has been mindblowing, it feels like a whole new game. So i'm back to being addicted to it. Got my S tier pirate dreadnought (used to have a very small c tier freighter), used for the first time the Minotaur Exocraft with the AI module, the whole new space station models, the derelict freighters, the settlements...and many more stuff that I still have to play with. LOVE the Anomaly and the community of players roaming doing their own thing, receiving random awesome loot to sell for big units, doing weekend missions with people, etc.

Truly, kudos to the Dev team. Can't wait to do expeditions when they are back and get those cool items.

No, engine improvement developed for Light no Fire have been implemented in NMS, that affected all systems and planets. Purple systems differ only in a couple of ways e.g. have a bit different terrain shape generation. Not necessarily more beautiful, but it is something specific to them, something different. They also have 2 Biomes exclusive to them, Waterworlds (planets surface is mostly water with oceans up to 1500u deep) and Gas Giants

You can find jungle planets in any system, not just purple. They will have a bit more dense flora. By shape of the terrain I meant it literally, slopes, mountains, giant holes in the ground etc

You can keep dying if you wish just... Unless you change the death setting you will just keep losing your stuff

At times it does leak vram sadly

At least back when I had a 1660 I had vram leaks even in lower texture settings

this is my second laptop im playing on and the problem is still here where i drop from 120 FPS to a constant 75 fps and it stays that way even on my other Newer laptop.

Dying again deleted the old grave and spawns a new one with the stuff you had when dying the second time

Looks like Online Discovery service is active, but there is still possibility of server hiccups

If multiple players are getting this issue it's most likely server side

You can try to restart the game but if it doesn't help all we can do is wait

I think the issue was with Steam in general, rather than just NMS

It;s back working again for me now
