yep, careful if any npc ships spawn near you; switching to cockpit camera (quick menu - X or dpad down -, utilities, change camera) lets you use mini radar to keep track of where a npc ship would be

@mild gull "buried mineral formation (get glowing mineral, unpack, sell stuff)" is literally go down on a planet, use visor to look for buried mineral formation, use terrain manipulator to dig it up and mining beam to destroy it. you get an item called glowing mineral, cursor over it in inventory and analyze/"unpack". sell the stuff you get to the station trade terminal. you could also do this with buried tech module icons, and sell some salvaged data

Found a pink lush planet with what look like cherry blossom trees. Managed to get a korvax settlement.
But if I unload the chucks for even half a second, it goes haywire. I repeatedly have to reload them because sometimes the settlement is there, sometimes not.
And my guy has been really weird with textures. He just looks blurry. Hard to get good pics like that lol.

And it really didnt need to be expedition reward, same applies for other paint jobs

Full on ships, staff MTs, armor sets - maybe, but a single customisation option is out of place IMO

Could very well be a "challenge reward" like brood helmets or fishing helmets

Like my main gripe about ISM is || that it has no tie in with Atlas Eternal, you know the one quest that is makes you show wonders to Atlas and has text that goes "every thing can be a seed if viewed the right way" and "fabric of reality were to sigh"? ||

Not to mention the teeny whiney fact that it is required to start ISM?

That would be friggin perfect connection to || purple star systems || but no, why go for things that make sense easily

Turning MP off in the settings doesn't affect the ODS. Expeditions are tied to the ODS.

Once you have the expedition config you can go offline and not have any need for other players. Some of the milestones required community help to finish, but I think all of them were optional milestones.

The last few live expeditions I completed offline because I hate seeing all the base icons on my horizon and seeing all the "Discovered by HelloGames" planets. I definitely prefer feeling like I'm "alone" in nms.

Oh right, that one you had to play twice once the community goal was achieved. I always misremember that since there was a choice of milestones, not a choice to complete it or not, heh. Either way, you can make a simple edit to the expedition config to get around that. Definitely nothing HG couldn't very easily do.
