if it is, you should check if you are on it when you warp. it is entirely possible that warping brings you to the wrong planet btw! so make sure you look around before thinking it's the wrong glyphs

basically, studies showed that the workers in the industrial area of the freighter were not very happy because the work they have to do is hard. to make them happier, the freighter captain (me) decided to upgrade their area and added multiple break rooms and that bar. the freighter crew really liked it and a lot of workers gather in that bar during weekends and breaks @misty pawn

The latter two of those are just classes of existing tech, which will always have the limit of 3 per tech type
Sentinel and Rebuilt are classified as their own "tech" even though they share stats from Life Support, Defense Systems and Movement Modules. You can install 3 of each, but they get completely random stats of the 6 they can roll with kinda like black market upgrades

They're not always awful, they have a small chance to be better than S (or for very few of them, the same), and also we had a 6 upgrade module limit in the distant past and that was incredibly overpowered, it's the reason we have supercharged slots instead

My s class shield one went from like +30% to +42%, which is not a whole lot

You cannot, you either swap his freighter for yours (or claim it if you have none), ask him for loot, or blow it up for freighter upgrades
Once you've done the second to last one you can blow it up as well but you only get resources and not freighter upgrades

You can then recruit or destroy all the pirate frigates left after its destruction
