I updated my freighter base, it had all the old legacy builds, I just went in build mode, deleted with my cam pointed at the bottom and cammed up and deleted everything lol, easier to make new freighter base when everything deleted, I tried updating by putting new rooms in the old spots, it looked messy af. Is anyone having fps problems? I downloaded the game again to play after many months and it is unplayable, in the menu it seems normal 60 fps but in game it is between 8-10 fps

for me the fps starts out at 60 but gradually gets worse as I play, also when I tab out of the game window then tab back in the fps drops down to 10-20, and I have to repeatedly tab in and out until it comes back. even when it does come back it still feels like I have less than before I tabbed out

maybe your video card is lacking VRAM memory or RAM normally for the game and over time the FPS will decrease due to lack of it, try increasing the PC's allocated memory

I have 4GB of VRAM but it always seemed like enough to play at least on medium.

hmm so if you can't do multiplayer it might be possible to find a distress signal for a C class ship, then fix that for cheap, then make your way off the planet to a spaceport and hope they sell repair kits. Pirate stations do tend to stock them so as long as you can get to a teleport you might be able to wing it

I have a freighter with those. Its legacy. Basically if you delete them they are gone forever. But you can transfer freighter basses safley. I built them way back and was so happy they stayed when they changed freighter parts.
