Step one make a base near your settlement

Step two place down some floors and stand on the floors to get the building menu

Step three once you reached the settlement with the floors you can then build

Keep in mind it can be glitchy some times

Big looking farms are in general better looking than glitch builded ones that are stacked on top of eachother

you have to separate your farm into multiple networks if you want to build massive farm, each network has diminishing return after you reach 1000 item/h

one is a random thing you can find while warping and its just a very broken regular freighter, the other i think you need to specifically have something to find it and its mostly intact and you can land on it and explore

This is usually the part where one either comes up with a grand objective, or sets down the game for a bit and catches up on the backlog until the urge to No Man's Sky flares up again.

Try normal mode, i would really recommend it

The things I usually do is look for really specific things, like a Paradise planet with nice water and grass, trees, manta rays, maybe some spiders or beetles, little glowy fish, and a moon, maybe a ring too

Or try a new game

This means that sentinels are present on the planet in limited quantities, but aren't all up in your business about it -- should be okay to do normal mining and building and gathering and whatever, but attacking one will still start drama.
