Yeah, those are floors, alloy floor panels

Tho I used some glitch building techniques to build that effect. You can use free placement to build floors vertically and then snap to them but to build generators like that you will need to use a glitch

There are many ways to build a power tower, it's just one of them

I never even used that form tbh

Jetpack through the ceiling in the launch tube thingy, fly towards the main space station part, once above that you’ll be able to land on the ceiling, then if you want to go to the back just keep walking to the back and you’ll fall through the floor eventually, if you wanna go out, walk towards the back, then jetpack up and fly towards the front, eventually you’ll be able to land on another ”floor” above, then just walk towards the exit and you’ll be in space

Same thing can be done in reverse to get inside a space station without a ship

Well, as he points out with multi-tools it's dependent on the cabinet you get it from (I guess the cabinet contains a seed?) so if you're in a system that's giving S-class you can look for the same tool in another cabinet and find a different layout

I do wish we could move them around on ships, though, because that's based on the ship seed and so they can end up in VERY inconvenient locations. I'd be happy to pay for it with units or nanites.

Actually the cabinet seed determines the MT class, and some or all of the SC slots - hunting MTs for specific class/slots gets pretty involved, lol.

I noticed if you build in the buildable area on the freighter it would stick out above the freighter and you can't put stairs or ladder going down that would go down into the freighter. Scale it based on your office class, perhaps scaling to like idk 40% or 50% reduction in time to build and upgrade (i hope they sneak in some feature like that in a bugfix update like they did w/ supercharged slots around v4.08 aka waypoint)

Hmm, this is odd: I just added my fourth settlement, my second autophage one. The first one started in the black, with productivity > maintenance (not by much). This one has 0 productivity (despite the Overseer's office alone claiming over 7000 productivity). Maybe needs a save and restart?

Hmm, that didn't fix it. The math is wrong, lots of buildings, each with positive productivity, but it is not summing them somehow.

At least a management opportunity came up that changed it from 0 to a postive (though wrong) value.

Oh! the settlement buildings are all missing their class markers too.
