Look for biome specific resources and plants

Like dioxite and frost crystals for frozen planets

You can try using catalogue and guide to locate those substances

And have the game chart a path to planet that has those

You can filter by lifeform on the galaxy map, and you will need an economy scanner installed in your ship to easily locate the trading post on a planet

A decent tactic for frozen would be utilizing the catalog as Friendly said, or visiting yellow systems with 4 or more planets (more chances)

They can spawn in any color system, but yellows have the lowest chance at exotic planets, so a higher chance at normal biomes

Eventually, you'll have both anyway. It seems like every settlement's got its own pre-determined build order (they're seeded just like pretty much everything else in the game) and every settlement I've ever owned has come with two market slots and two ship pad slots.

Market seems to deliver more productivity at max upgrades than the ship pad does, but having an S-Class ship pad means your settlement can start making free frigate fuel.

Each time you use a black hole you warp around the center and 10000 (or 20000 for a double black hole) toward the center. So I alternate: black hole then warp toward the core as far as I can tolerate to find the next black hole. Once you are close enough, the black holes either stop working or only warp you around and no longer toward the core. (Which has varied over time in NMS, not sure what the current "close to core black hole" behavior is.)

Warped to my freighter just now and again the main corridor tieing the freighter rooms together is missing, so I'm trapped in the Teleporter room area (with a Trader Terminal room and Refiner rooms, but can't reach the rest of the freighter base. Good news is that reteleporting to the freighter has previously worked around the bug...

Except you can't walk through the corridor that is not there. But I think the visual bug is when you are flying by in your starship and chunk sections of the freighter are missing. Can be any freighter, not just the one you own, too.

While the central corridor is missing (it is drawn as if it did not exist in the freighter base) arrivals are trapped in the chunk of the base that has the Teleporter Room. The bridge is inaccessible. (If I understood the question...)

Are you getting the sometimes dissappearing Freighter base too? Like it's there but not rendering?

Actually now that I'm here, I've experience two versions of it. One where it's invisible and another where the game treated the base as not existing at all and I could walk on the Freighter's hull.

You have an in game option to reset your position to the bridge, while in the build area of your freighter

It is interesting it is always the oldest part of the freighter base that is missing: I usually scrap all the preexisting prerolled base and just start building out from the bridge, so the one missing is the very first corridor segment I added.
