Honestly a lot of uncertainly surrounding the current administration, pathway internships should be preserved for this cycle at least. Just study hard for whatever engineering program you are interested in and don't target one specific company or agency. Good luck!

For me personally, I have a bachelor's in computer science from a T50 university with FAANG internships but went to nasa after taking a Google voluntary severance package for a title bump. Actually a pay downgrade but I plan on switching some time soon

But bear in mind base-level consoles can't handle displaying bases with more than 3k parts (hence them not being uploadable)... And even PCs will struggle with more base parts in one base. I've visited a few bigger and you just get partial display and lots of part pop-in as you walk around.
