How will a glyph adress change if it becomes corrupted?

YY/ZZZ/XXX:
When inputting 124381801801 into a portal in Euclid I was brought to 103081801801 which would indicate that the SSI takes priority in accommodating for a corruption.

I then found out that 103081801799 also exists, but 103081801800 doesn’t, which lead me to test which way the game would round, downwards (to 799) or upwards (to 801)
After trying this 10 times I found it always put me in 801 (0.5^10%, or 0.09% chance of happening if it were actually random), this would indicate that incase of being right in the middle of two systems the game will round up to find a valid placement.

SSI:
After this I attempted to see what would happen if the SSI changes worked in the same way. I proceeded to input 123481801801 and found that it put me 102F81801801, indicating that it changed the SSI by a lot, if we go back to my first example where SSI 243 put me in SSI 030 this lead me to speculate that SSI changes are random so I attempted to input 124381801801 again and it brought me to 11EC81801801. I tested 3 more times and got put in 3 other systems (won’t bore you with exact hexadec). This confirms my theory that a faulty SSI will be changed to any randomly determined valid SSI.

I may do more testing on this subject in the future. But this is all I got in me for now.

I was obsessed with Starfield. Like, wanted to make my own Constellation Watch and got heavily into the NASA-Punk aesthetic. I loved the story (I like it better than NMS story tbh) but the lack of things to do after just hurt. I finished every single quest, beat the game 20 times just to see if I can get different realities, etc. I spent $30 on Shattered Space, avoided mods to make sure I can still get achievements, and was rewarded with a 3 hour quest that is barely impacted by having the main Serpent following companion, Andreja, with you.

I agree with lots of this but yeh we gotta be careful here. I think its not even an issue if you got lots of hours out of the game anyways, but for long term longevity SF is reliable on mods or more dlc for sure yeah

NMS is the closest thing I've found to a Traveller style video game with all the right elements of roleplay and immersion put in all the right places. You can even die before you "create" your character!

Whenever I get close to burning out on it, I just find another task. Like right now I'm going system to system and writing down the details of each planet, naming them, and adding it all to a Pages doc that I can refer to when I need to find planets with certain resources or characteristics

I’m pretty sure they will. Most of the Autophage body parts you can buy with Quicksilver: it’s only the Atlantid and Atlas heads that you have to get from an Expedition.
