I can’t post a screenshot to prove I’m not crazy but I actually worked it out. I used my teleporter to go to a “Nearby System” to my objective and THEN it showed a path in my galaxy map. Apparently if you’re lost enough the galaxy map is like “Well… I’m lost.”

When you make a base, the camera goes really far up
When it does that, you go into the build menu, select a landing pad, enter free placement, and place the pad at a specific time on the descent

They just added it. You go to the freighter and it’s the same part of the center console where you manage your fleet and squadron

It will also empty the ship (but keeps the tech upgrades) not sure if it moves the contents or deletes them though

Hello, recently started playing, and my main quest is to travel to the Stranger coordinates, I just jumped to another system which revealed to be a pirate one with an extreme planet on which my main quest tells me to go. The storm will end eventually, and then you'll be able to see. If you spam the ship's scanner while flying around where it wants you to land you should be able to find where the mission actually wants you to go and land there, so you don't have to be outside so long

It was a green jungle like world with purple trees + alien trees + orange skies and glowing turtles

And the system was Vykeen too which made it very peak. Hadn‘t seen that combo before but I hope others have found moons likes this so I have good chance of finding a „copy“

I like the Vents as well, and probably would have tried for one, except... and someone correct me if I'm wrong... it has always seemed to me that the Pirate Freighters were always superior to normal Freighters. For example, a Class B Pirate seems, to me anyway, to be a better ship than a Class A Normal. More slots open, etc. But I am open to correct if I'm incorrect.

Tbh I enjoyed it for roughly 100 hours right after getting it. My biggest advantage was probably barely being in the Internet back then.

I always had the feeling of finding something new then, it took me long to realize that…there wasnt anything new to find after I was done grinding factory recepts

Same thoughts here, when release, i agree it does feel empty and not much things to do, but i'm optimistic that NMS will become better as time goes. Now see where we are, almost a decade in 🙂
