as soon as I landed on this planet, I giant worm came tunneling out of the ground, so I assumed it was the 7th creature, I waited until it showed up again, but I wasnt able to scan it in time...but as I chased it down, I scanned some other tiny little creature and he counted as my 7/7

do these worms not count? it did have the red dot on it in the visor mode

The coordinates are in the form of glyphs, which can be unlocked and used to travel to any specific planet in the galaxy, you unlock them the easiest by completing the main story

Yes, harmonic camps and sentinel interceptor crash sites don't generate on dead, weird or infested worlds as well as uncharted systems

Just found a decent amount on an extreme storm radioactive world, so mining during storms with a buffed optical drill gives like 2 inventories of mold in not much time at all

When next an expedition comes out, make sure to get yourself a freighter and a full fleet of frigates in the expedition save. They don't have to be good ones. They get turned into nanites at the end. for 30 frigates you walk away with 75000 nanites.

One time, while doing a freighter defence I accidentally hit the space station and summoned the sentinels. They like teamed up with the pirates so that I'd get more wanted level for shooting down the pirates, and they'd respawn with the sentinels. Most starships I've ever had after me at once

Theyre not super rare as far as encounters go, I advise you to install an economy scanner on your starship and go to three star systems, youll have the best chance there. But theres also a website you can visit where people catalogue their finds including exotic ships, so if you wanted specific you can input the colors or parts you want and see if anything comes up. If its not in the euclid galaxy, you can ask someone for a ride to the correct galaxy

I have a few saves. A normal one, which I mostly play, then [RETIRED] for my PD after I got the Immortal title, and [REDACTED] that I use just to test stuff, with cheats involved, before doing it normally

Once I made it I built a little base on a Paradise moon and marked the save as retired.

Companions can be almost as much of a time sink as Interceptor hunting.

Okay, Minotaur is kinda useful now, though I think I have pets who move faster than most of my exocraft and don't get me hazardous flora damage while zipping along.

Roamer, maxed out, if faster than me. Nomad is a bit slower, but floats, so it has that going for it.
