I've missed a lot of messages, so sorry if this was already answered. You get 1 free summon of any ship per gaming session while on a planet. It even works for ships with no launch fuel. If you haven't been able to summon that broken ship yet, create a restore point on a planet and quit the game. Try to summon it when you get back in the game.

NMS can be playable either way, tho if you're playing offline, your uploaded discoveries will be on hold til the next time you go online.

does your hyperdrive range matter when jumping to the core? I've always used a spare exotic and slapped some s-class hyperdrive modules on it to make the trip, but I'm starting to suspect others are making the jump with whatever crashed bucket and no upgrades
