||Modules breaking from entering a new galaxy?|| Yeah I do think that's a big oversight. Really no reason for it from a gameplay perspective. It kinda feels like they didn't know what else to do to keep the gameplay loop going. But I definitely feel there are other ways to go about it. Not much we can do about it now though and at least you know now what to expect. And ofc there's ways around it by equipping trash gear first

You can find a sentinel ship without fighting sentinels. Fly low over a dissonant planet in an outlaw system and shoot the dissonance resonators with your starship until you get an echo locator. Free sentinel multitool that way too

Just have to keep checking the settlement administration terminal every now and then. And finish construction of any buildings. It's pretty much the only way to improve your settlement

You can change the difficulty to custom. I have enemy damage up but everything else normal

I don't hold target lock, I just use it to turn towards my target. It's better to snap out of the lock and aim for the leading diamond
Also boosting and yawing to get a little distance before a joust
The problem with target lock is that it's also your brake. So you can get melted if you just hold it
