||Neither lock you out of anything, though choosing to reset allows you to reset it into any of the four types of galaxies, normal, lush, harsh or empty. Lush have 2x lush planets in yellow stars, empty have more dead/weird in yellow stars, and harsh have more extreme storms.||
There is a small drawback, ||choosing to reset damages all of your exosuit, starship and multi-tool technology, which if not known beforehand is very annoying. If you know about it, you can just switch to other ships/multi-tools and store all exosuit technology in cargo inventory before entering the final portal||
