I've been doing a Nexus mission for surveying a planet, and I got a bad seed, because I landed on a Frozen planet that didn't have enough plants and minerals to scan on the surface. I had to go underwater in order to scan the rest of the plants and minerals. Now I need to locate a Electromagnetic Power hotspot, which I'm having trouble finding...

I have people joined, or just idiots so I only have M player/invite only as someone kept joining my game and I got annoyed so just don't let people join when they want to.

Tech modules are upgrades to your systems. So for example you can get modules to make your exosuit more heat resistant, or modules that increase how many light-years you can jump in the galaxy map. There are also ones that upgrade your ship weapons, jetpack, etc

I deleted my old main save and started from the relics expedition... and had gear that was almost as good as the gear from my old main save. Yea, unless you started a new save on one of the recent Expeditions you have to complete 'In Stellar Multitudes' to be able to see purple systems. Completing that ticks something in the save file to reveal them.
