Well, it was changed in relics update

Surface of water on waterworlds was too far from the Seafloor and bases build there would go invisible

So relics update changed that, tho it doesn't mention how far we can go now

But on most planets it doesn't matter anymore

You can't build outside of the atmosphere and base parts don't go invisible even when build near the edge of the atmosphere

I built a base just over the surface of the ocean on a waterworld after the update, had decorations and structural parts disappear whenever I left and came back. I opened a ticket to let HG know.

Blowing them up will increase your standing with the Outlaws though. Blow them up enough and you receive the Admiral of the Black status with the Outlaws.

You keep using pulse engine, make sure the egg is on you then a signal appears at random then follow to said planet...just keep pulsing, just warp somewhere pulse for 10 seconds, rinse repeat

it can take a bit since u have to scan a lot of plants, rocks and animals as well as finding 3 resource hotspots, then i think u also have to upload the data at a trade post

not difficult i guess just time consuming unless a specific animal is super rare
