I like how when you get close enough to those venus fly trap looking hazardous flora and they close and injure you, but you still manage to keep hold of the action to grab their pod thing, the game punishes you twice by making it close again when you're next to it and grab it

Bascially every base I build on the ground, I use one or two of those short wall parts to get the floor up over the grass / plants / rocks and go from there, just needs a little stairway to lead to the door. You need not worry, then. That's what I do, anyway...
