Game's engine generates planets when you go to them, every time. So if rules to how planets are generated are modified it will affect everything

That means it doesn't see difference between a discovered planet and not discovered. Hello Games did refresh biomes, which ofc ended with a lot of people finding trees and boulders in their bases, but the shape of the terrain remained unchanged

It sometimes act funny, but there was a noticeable difference when I went to #nmscord-hub with that setting cranked up and set to normal. If it's cranked up, Distira is filled with Aggressive Sentinels, but if you set it to normal, the place is peaceful for the most part.

hey, has anyone ever given us a reason to why we can't just kill the random gek, vykeen, and korvax we come across on planets?
we're able to blow up freighters and other ships, and we're able to absolutely decimate animals
but why is it that when I come across a random gek while ship hunting, I can't just evaporate him and take his ship
