this also happens with the flattening tool as well. it happens when u are using the terrain manipulator and switching to your analyzer. this happens with the mine bean, flatten beam. and restore beam. its really funny especially with the flatten beam as the beam goes through the staff and it looks like a lightsaber from both ends. does look very cool

Strange how? That's a good +Combat RNG roll, and as a C-class each time it upgrades class on its way to S-class as it completes freighter expeditions, its stats will only improve. (Even negative bonus rolls get repaired as it upgrades, into positives, so I like the ones with multiple negative bonuses myself).

try outlaw stations. The bounty hunters often have missions that give the modules

you can also try warp-hopping outlaw systems until you get a pirate freighter fight, take it out and you can get some that way also.

ok so I've kinda been an off & on player for a few years or so, worlds 1 was released in July 2024, and I'll be honest, I did not play very much, I mainly played in January & February (cause January specifically was my winter break) as well as a touch of March, then stopped & returned again in November/December for the reduxes of 2024, I had zero issues running the game, then fast forward to this year, specifically January for finishing up reduxes & Worlds 2 release, I did start having a few issues with crashes, specifically when scanning fauna, and occasionally also lag/hang & screen tear, but I didn't think much of it, the twitch drops also happened and I crashed every time I tried collecting the creature eggs, which also crashed me out on load when I did manage to collect them until the lovely Grouch played on my save, manually saving the eggs in a text doc, deleting the eggs from my save, teleporting me to a less intensive base of mine, and then sending back, which fixed it, I have since further reduced my graphics settings just in case, and other than the persistent bug with scanning some fauna causing a hang/crash, I can play perfectly fine with minimal issues/lag/screen tear/etc, No Man's Sky is an excellent game & I absolutely love everything there is to offer, but I can't switch computers to a non integrated GPU without getting a proper desktop type computer, and for school reasons, as well as personal reasons, I prefer a laptop, basically, I'm working with what I got
