At some space stations an exotic will spawn in the first wave of ships after a reload

After every reload, so you can buy one, save them reload and buy another one

Great for farming storage augmentations as exotics always come as S class and S class will always drop some whem scrapped

But it's pretty rare for a station to do that and updates might sometimes break it so old spots might no longer work

Your entire save is deleted. IF you uploaded bases with that save to ODS, your bases likely stay in the ODS database, but you can no longer edit them

Highly doubtful, given that folks who do explicitly delete their saves, used to still show bases, they just could no longer edit them. I don't believe the base is automatically removed from ODS, just because a local save is deleted

I wish the game had more ace combat esque camera and HUD mechanica, like, brighter starship HUD, greener attitude indicator that is always active or dims out when outside of the atmosphere and locks to the horizon of the nearest planet or the gravity plane of the nearest object you can land on, and a third camera mode that keeps the first person hud but makes the starship invisible, and also a bind to lock the camera onto a target when the button is held

you want to hear a fun bug? someone managed to spawn 2 derelict freighters right on top of the first rendezvous when i was doing the current expedition the other day. It made the gfround cant at a steep angle that i couldnt climb, becuase my jetpack was disabled (because irt thought i was on na derelict)

Collision planet bugs are different though. As I said, they create unpredictable glitches that aren't necessarily accounted for by HG

I crashed a couple times during the expedition, but weirdly enough the game seemed to auto save seconds before it crashes, A bethesda game would never

As long as your character is moving the game triggers an autosave every minute

Meaning that if you are running around and crash you should lose at most a minute

High standing gets you a discount when buying technology modules, up to 50%, but you can sell them back for full price

You can get atlas words from atlas stations regardless whether you are doing atlas eternal or not, but I guess since you are going there for the mission you might grab some

IDK about parts but there are a few noew whole cratures. HG seems to have abandoned adding more bits to existing creature categories and usually just makes whole creatures now with some color variants if we're lucky

Its not about completeness, HG has adopted a policy of avoiding adding things that would cause old discoveries to re-shuffle, even though it's happened quite a lot in the past anyway

By adding new types that dont interact with older creatuyre types (like the robotic creatures, the skeleton creatures, the stone beetle creatures, etc) that don't mix with other creatures that came before, they don't risk scrambling people's discoveries or PETS either

Yep, you aren't alone at all, most people get real pissy if their buddy suddenly glitches out of existence forever 🙂

Same for ships and even planets. HG has gotten heat for changing how the terrain generates because base building, which is why they always find excuses to add planets now as much as possible rather than altering worlds that are already around

personally I'm a day1 guy who thinks bases on planets really should be either A) Not a thing or B) Relocate-able/packable/properly harvestable etc (various menu and Interface options for managing bases if problems happen)

The way bases work, the code for being allowed to save/pack/unpacck would actually be a cakewalk. It's literally just a list of parts and locations relative to the base computer. EZ to mess with that kind of clean setup

I had the same complaint for years about the freighter bases deleting themselves when you change freighters(yeah they used to do that) and then HG fixed that. It would be almost the same thing
