save your navigation data, buy a lot of distressor signal maps, use them all, and ONLY land on and respond to the crashed ship ones.

or farm sentinel ships for coin the buy the first class/looks heavy ship you like.

ship hunting can be as simple as waiting in a station for npc ships to spawn and land: there's 21 different ship designs per inhabited system. vykeen more fighters, korvax more explorers, gek more haulers

a little trick is you use the distressor maps, and don't land or respond to any of them that ain't a crashed ship. there can only be one type of each mission up at a time, so if you only respond to crashed ships and you have all the others still up, you will get a crashed ship every time

honestly, if you are keen, just buy/trade-for and hunt for a lot of ships for space-ship parts, save your nanites, and then buy an S-Class reactor at a Space station and build your own ship. the only downside is that when you create your own, it's poopoo when attempting to trade for another.

it depends on your desired playstyle. You can do outlaw/pirate stuff and use a fighter just fine, if you wanan explore, scan, etc, get yourself an explorer, or hauler if you plan on bringing mats back with you.

its not the best ship for any of those categories specifically but it can do all of them

fighters do the most damage, explorers have the best hyperdrives and launch efficiency (iirc, could be wrong)

but sentinel can do both just a little worse than either

but the real failing of sentinel ships is that you can't build and paint your own

Game's engine doesn't differentiate between discovered and not discovered, so the only way to target systems that weren't discovered is by targeting systems no one was able to visit before

One of the coolest things to learn was that Beethoven could just hear a whole orchestra play without having to deal with sound. I'd love to see a movie about him with that in mind. Where everything is pretty deaf, but when it comes to music it's just a beautiful galor to your ears

you only need 1 weapon early game, the big difference comes to upgrades imo

i would only purchase slots if I'm running significantly low, because u need slots to install upgrades which are what substantially increase ur weapon damage

if u have slots already, focus on upgrades

7. Finish the mission to reveal all purple systems on the galaxy map.
