I think the multiplayer we got was the one always intended, was just not ready at release. Mind you, even though they were asked if PvP would be allowed or if griefing could happen, what was released for multiplayer eventually was not adequate for dealing with either, though thankfully it has been much improved over time.

Whats everything you can do in NMS? I've already gotten all of my upgrades maxed out, top-tier X class, for my exosuit, exo craft, staff etc. I have a freighter base I'm happy with, and I forgot that when supercharged slots were first introduced there was a big which caused all of your slots to be supercharged which I also did when they were first released, I think it was patched though. And I already have farms for each of my materials.

Once you own a freighter, you upgrade it from the central holo console in the freighter control room to the right of the navigator who gives out frigate expeditions. You have to spend salvaged frigate data you collect from various places, including those frigate expeditions to buy upgrades of which Matter Beam is one.

yeah, I used to do a cyclotron + infraknife build (& phase beam as a backup), but as it turns out, when upgraded with 4 S (or good X) upgrades + the B class installed upgrade, cyclotron does barely the same amount as infraknife on shields, and like nothing afterwards, whereas infraknife does do a slightly less dps on shields, but it's much more than any other weapon (including cyclotron mean for shields) and then is soooo effective after shield break

If you save your game, install a module and then reload and install the same module it will have the same stats

If you do thay with 10 modules it will be the same.

But being able to SEE what it will be before you install it, will let me scan several upgrades I'm interested in before I even place one, will be a neat way to go about it.
