My thought was, you can use a wire glitch to build landing pad at an angle, but after some point you get a "blocked landing pad" message and won't be able to summon your ship

But when you teleport to a base your ship will spawn at the available landing pad, sometimes bypassing said error when landing pad is just blocked by some base parts

So I was thinking about building a garage with my ship inside and everything upsidedown

The building spots seem random so hard to tell which direction the settlement will grow but I guess the initial block radius might cover the entire possible expansion area. Personally I stick to deployables in settlements.

Expedition feels almost like cheating. Started out in a purple system with a purple warp drive upgrade. From my understanding, it would normally require the completion of storylines to get it right?

You can teleport to any of your bases (even if a base doesn't have a teleporter) from any teleporter, like one you can find on any space station

When you exit your game you will be where you last saved when you log back in

Freighter is like a mobile base, you can't pilot it yourself, but you can build inside a designated area and summon it to you (if you have sufficient hyperdrive upgrade for your current star system) or use them to warp to other systems

Using fleet management console on your freighter you can transfer ships to cold storage

You can't summon them and cargo isn't saved, but technology will be preserved so you can at any point put those ships back to active service again

If you are in korvax system then space station there will be korvax space station. Scientist is always a korvax. Space stations can have all races on them, but the majority of npcs there will be a system dominant race

Would be cool to add some more liveness stuff. Like, if you use heavy weapons near a building on a planet (that has NPCs on it), cause said NPCs to run away, and then randomly pit some aentinels versus you or some random predator. Buildings should catch fire too if you attack them with heavy weapons.

Of course all would be back to normal if you leave and then come back later.
