It can be helpful sometimes, in fact sometimes for some quests, if you don’t have the quest marked, you can have a really difficult time figuring out where to go or what to do next. The game isn’t always the best in cluing you in on what to do. Also, people sometimes go do other things, and take breaks from the quests, which is completely fine (especially when you’ve done the main quests a few times and don’t care about doing them right away). Or if you’ve taken a break, and not played the game for say a few months, and come back and you’ve got no idea where you left off, and need a reminder what to do or where to go. If that’s the sort of thing you meant

Fauna is weird, flying fauna isn't a problem but underground fauna can be borderline impossible to spawn a lot of the time. But I wouldn't say that matters at all...much less make the game unplayable. It's a total non-issue.

I’m pretty convinced that fauna need to have enough valid space above their heads and around them before they can spawn making purely underground tunnels just the worst in terms of spawning anything

Creature types have a spawn density with a certain #/u for a cluster of spawns. For underground, they increased this number to help offset the decreased amount of spawnable terrain, but they didn't increase it enough

I got an exocraft onto my freighter base and fired the mining laser. The defence systems start shooting at it after that, even if you exit it, get in your ship, and fly away

I had a cool bug earlier, and I got it recorded. I did a Dreadnaught fight, and after I exploded it, I went into the nearby station. There was a random NPC ship parked there, but no NPC. And somehow, all the friendly ships outside were aggroed on it

They were flying through the station, trying to attack it, and I ended up getting shot up high enough to clip out of the station, and almost died
