When i was building the power calculator I had to figure out the correct ratio. It’s very close to 2:1 but the calculations behind aren’t direct math. Ahuh! But 2:1 will almost always (99.9%) keep you powered throughout.

Not possible. Di-hydrogen is on every planet, you just need to travel at least 1000 units away from your current position to swith the “planetary region” boundaries that are responsible for spawn node generation.
