Made bank as in a ton of money. All I do is travel to a system and keep in mind what for economy they have (like the electricity box or science or etc), find a trading outpost (special goods from that type of economy system are cheaper there, head back into space and then find a economy system where the stuff sells for a ton more. In every system they have special goods for say -40% price and if you go to the right economy system you can get about %25 to %65 profit when selling it there (As far as I’ve experienced). I have a pic that shows which economy systems sell best in which systems, I could slide the info in DMs

Get an economy scanner on your ship, and you can see the economy type and tier of a system. The more stars it has, the better buy/sell prices. The icon it shows represents the type of economy (and it just tells you if you press r on a system), such as manufacturing, high tech, etc

did you ditch your ship in the first system of the expedition? you need to warp once or twice before you can summon the anomaly. Without the atlantid drive you can still go to any yellow system though, so it's fine

Hmm....are the stats any good? I find fighters and explorers are a nightmare to craft because getting top stats is rare on its own and then getting the perfect SC slot layout on top is nearly impossible. But for natural spawned ships you can start with one that has perfect SC slot layout at S class and then camp until an S with top stat rolls spawns. Only really important for fighters and explorers because they are the one stat ships that make the most of having perfect SC slot layouts.

S class tends to have some pretty wild stat ranges...especially for fighters. All natural spawned S class fighters in non-pirate systems will have a damage roll within 1% of the max bonus they can have...but that guarantee does not exist for crafted or upgraded to S with nanites or spawns in pirate systems. So crafted S class fighters can be quite rough.

Oddly , in real life, with cutting with cutoff wheels, plasma torches, and oxy-acetylene torches that is an actual thing to get prefect results. So one of the devs (might) have some practical tool skills.

Best fix I’ve found is just using the combat scope and holding right click. You start doing the regular walk animation after a sec, or after flashing cloak

On PC this isn’t horrible because of the follow-the-cursor flight system, but as soon as I pick up a controller my muscle memory gets MAD

you can add XML to do that in the TKGAMESETTINGS.MXML file. I added binds for a lot of things before the game had them, like exocraft stuff and other things.

you just have to find out what the game engine supports

Most of what I’ve seen for a “walk mod” on PC was setting your actual run speed so slow that they use the walk animation. Is there an actual unused binding for walking?

I think that with a steam deck you can fool the game into thinking you are using vr if you enable gyroscopes.

and on the Deck you CAN edit the files
