What do you find is the most effective weapon for clearing derelicts? I like my NC and all, but I’m kinda wondering if a simple upgraded bolt caster might be better. 90% of a kill isn’t a dead creature, so that might as well be 50% of a kill if it still takes two shots.

Whereas with a bolt caster, rapid fire means less TTK potentially, bypassing reload.

Though the spread sure is dang nice with the NC…

1. Complete the Artemis Path (the main story of the game).

5. Return to space, aim towards empty space, and engage Pulse Drive, disengage when you see the quest's Space Encounter.

7. Finish the mission to reveal all purple systems on the galaxy map.

See that's why I think you should be able to start them whenever you want, and instead of "you have 6 weeks to finish this" it should be "you have 72 in game hours to finish this" either way the result is the same, the only difference is that the expeditions are all available to everyone at all times

Theoretically yes .... but in NY head it's just easier to start the expedition on a new save and claim the rewards on my main.... plus I personally enjoy the "fresh start" expeditions give me

They can still add new ones and it wouldn't diminish their value, when an expedition is new, everyone gets 6 weeks to do whatever they want in it, after that it gets a timer based on the average completion time in play hours from the initial run

How to get started...

📖 Warning: Purple systems are end-game content so you must finish certain quests before you can access them.

1. Complete the Artemis Path (the main story of the game).

2. Atlas Eternal must show in your mission log, once Atlas Path is completed.
3. Find a Harmonic Camp and release the multi-tool seal.

4. Warp to trigger: They Who Returned and complete the Autophage missions.
5. Return to space, aim towards empty space, and engage Pulse Drive, disengage when you see the quest's Space Encounter.
6. New Mission: In Stellar Multitudes.

🛑 Warning: Do not leave the Atlas Station system you'll go to in the quest without visiting its space station or claiming a base computer on one of its planets.

7. Finish the mission to reveal all purple systems on the galaxy map.
