Staff class depends on the head & terminal — every terminal you build at will be different so if you want you can gather a whole bunch of echo locators and run around to different terminals until you get one you want. (Personally I settled for A and upgraded at the space station.)

As some one who has played since launch I would say it depends on what your looking for in a game. Though I would say there's something here for most. If you like the dead space you'll love derelict freighters, sectional pillars for a most open "shooter" experience. If like Ellie dangerous you'll really enjoy buying and selling things between systems, if you're a lore buff like myself, you'll be surprised at how deep this game goes. And of course there is No shortage of things to explore.

Ships when calculating damage potential combine installed weapons, so installing photon cannon with infra knife will show higher value then infra knife alone even tho infra-knife can be at 100k+ dps, but dmg potential doesn't represent dps or dmg per shot

Multitools dmg potential uses weapon with the highest dmg potential, so if you have installed neutron cannon and boltcaster, removing boltcaster won't change damage potential

Same as with ships damage potential isn't accurate representation but you can use it to see if your weapon improved or not to some degree

it’s on a special, large plant - it’s fairly obvious when you find it, but you’ll need a haz-mat gauntlet (unlocks in the anomaly)
