Hi need some help, recently i uninstalled my stream element due to some alert issue, fixed it but this week i have an issue with my streaming where those who are using Android can watch my streaming but if using iphone it will interrupted every 5 seconds? Is there any way i can fix this or anyone encounter the same issue? My stats is all okay without any dropping, I'm also using Ethernet with 500mbps connection. I'm very frustrated with the engagement is low and also only Android can watch my streaming.

This started after I updated my stream deck software, the night before I could go live, I've tried unplugging and exiting the streamdeck software, it still crashes when I try to go live, the only thing that really changed was updating the elgato streamdeck software between working and not working

For whatever reason, when I press "start stream" if will switch to "request start streaming" but freezes there. It only does this if I attempt to stream with "Facebook setting", but doesn't if I stream directly from OBS.

Hello,

I'm streaming on Facebook Live and I recently "reset session data". Ever since then the follow alerts don't go off, the follow goal doesn't update nor does the latest followers label.

Latest like does work updates though. I deleted my streamelements account and started a new one but that didn't fix the problem.

I recently tested the stream after I made a new account with streamelements and still having the same problems.

Can ANYONE help me? I waited 5 - 15 mins after the stream to see if it reset the data but nothing, still the same problems.

So i am a facebook streamer and my problem is unique. I have no problem going live but when I try to play a pc game while live my pc shuts down. I have to literally reboot my pc but what s crazy is I would still be live on facebook. When im not streaming live, I can play any pc game I want and my pc doesn't shutdown. I was thinking of unistalling obs streamelements and reinstalling. I looked for obs on my pc and noticed I have one that says 32bit and another that says 64 bit. I need help and don't know what to do at this point

When you PC crashes, do you get a blue screen or does it simply reset? You can find out what version of windows you have by opening File explorer then right clicking on "This PC" and selecting properties. There you will see the version of windows you are running as well as how much RAM you have and other details. It's ideal to have 16 gb of RAM but you can use 8 as well (More ram the more applications you can have running in the background). Once you know which version of windows you have, uninstall both and reinstall the correct version. Also, Do you have Hardware Acceleration turned on for SE.Live?

I have a friend who can not seem to get the "Stream Elements" drop down to the right of the "Help" drop down to show so he can import overlays etc... The entire pc shuts off. I have to cut the power switch off then on to power it back up. I have Windows 11, I have 64 Gigs of RAM, I have a Ryzen 5 5900x, Gigabyte Xtreme Geforce RTX, and a 1000 watt power supply. I unistalled obs and reinstalled it but yet it does the same thing. Also OBS is using over 50% of my GPU. Everytime I try to play a pc game while im streaming live on facebook, the PC shuts down. When im not streaming live, I can play any PC game just fine. This is driving me insane.

Your log contains no recording or streaming session. Results of this log analysis are limited. Please post a link to a clean log file.
To make a clean log file, please follow these steps:

  1. Restart OBS.
  2. Start your stream/recording for about 30 seconds. Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc.
  3. Stop your stream/recording.
  4. Select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File. Send that link via this troubleshooting tool or whichever support chat you are using.

Yes, you can create and new layout then click the + symbol in a blue circle. from here you can create alert windows. Click the link icon in the top toolbar to get the overlay url then add a Browser source to your OBS scene. You set the browser size to 1920x1080 assuming this is the size you used in SE, then your alerts will match wherever you placed it in your overlay edit screen.

Hello, I am having trouble going live on facebook from SE. I click the start streaming button, it brings up the options to go live with facebook streamer dashboard or create a new facebook live video post with these settings. I click on the go live with facebook streamer dashboard and the cursor spins and then SE freezes and go greyed out. It never connects to facebook dashboard. I am having issues wit Stream Elements updating from Twitch to Facebook. It shows Session expired and connect using Twitch, however I have my stream and streamkey set to Facebook? Will it auto connect once I go live on Facebook? Normally it would show the previous history on facebook when its connecting.

There was a post further up saying they were aware of an issue and that they were working on a fix, mine is broken as well but just a waiting game until fixed. Hopefully save you a bit of time troubleshooting and tweeking!

Is there any answers to alerts not working, chatbox not displaying chat, etc? I have been searching online for awhile now and can't find a solution. The only alerts that work for me are likes (only thumbs up. other reactions are not working and popping up). Shares, follows, etc are not popping up as well. When I test them they pop up fine. I didn't have the issue at all at one point. Hopefully this is know and a fix is coming

Hello. I want to know if theres a way to re-activate the live chat when one press the FB logo and open it in that widget. Cause I accidentally pressed it and I pressed refresh but it just refreshed the FB website and didn't open the chat again. And it happened the other day too when I tried to check who was one person that commented my live. I asked because I used to use streamlabs and it opens the chat back when one pressed "refresh chat". Hello. My friend gave me full access as a moderator in stream elements. I do not see any of his overlays. However it shows Twitch. He streams to multiple platforms fb/twitch through a custom server I setup. Does he have to give me full access to fb as well on streamelements?

Because restream actually allows you to broadcast to 5 different social media platforms all of which is Brighton and one chat channel. So it would follow that if you cannot have a butt in Facebook and you cannot have any chat function through obs with restream then I'm not going to be able to use it to actually interact with my audience.

so you are aware, there are plugins that allow you to multistream in OBS Studio, and also widgets that will sync with various chats if logged in correctly. OBS is barebones with basics but has a plethora of addons allowing people who know what they're doing create a user interface with customized functionality. One chat plugin I have seen on youtube even lets you click on a line of chat for it to appear as a "lower thirds" snippet. The information is out there. SE and OBS are not preventing you from multistreaming (if that is the specific goal you are challenged in obtaining). If you are talking about Streamelement's .live obs service, it is also just a basic software and isn't specialized. Restream literally promotes its only difference to be that it has multistreaming built in as default.

Restream is a redirect. So you are not simultaneously broadcasting to more than one stream. You are streaming to restream, and restream is sending that data to multiple streams.

I also have an established channel on twitch. When I say I want to be able to re stream 5 platforms I am saying that from the perspective of eventually. I'd like to be able to add them one at a time in order to make sure that it's done right first time so I'm not fighting this down the road.

so, if you want to multistream, first you must set up facebook and get the authentication key - and put it into restream.
then you get your other channel (twitch/youtube) autentication key and put that into restream.

THEN you use OBS Studio, and connect OBS to restream using Restream's authentication key. You will send your signal to restream, restream will send it out to the world

The problem started when he did not make any distinguishing statements on the beginners tutorial that informed anybody that you really couldn't connect it to Facebook gaming which coincidentally is were I decided to start.

i don't know what much of that means but I know that if you can give SLOBS computer resources it will take those resources from you no matter what else you're doing. it is garbage made by garbage people. They "stole" open source code from different creators (if you can steal open source), but because they didn't make it, they don't know how to adjust it when updates come down the pipe from the platforms it supports.

@supple torrent @supple ivy @ivory pike Currently there is a known issue with going Live with SE.Live. Devs are aware of the issue.
The workaround for this is, to click on the "Live Video Settings" button in the chat dock and use the 2nd option from the pop up "Use these settings" to go live.

unsure where to post this question. I've been encountering 15-30 second connection drops during my recent streams. (1 drop per 2 hours stream.) I've not changed anything on my end. I stream with restream and have reached out to them. They said that the connection from encoder has dropped meaning SEobs.live . I've ran the log and see lines upon lines of "cannot set property ..... 'undefined' streamelements.com/overlay/scripts/vendor"
Any ideas or can someone point me where i should be asking this question?

uses the live broadcast from the Stream champ program. I'm adding gif music, it's good, but it doesn't appear on the screen while the 2nd notification is coming, please help. Adding a single picture would be fine, but the room works without music.

Hello, I am brand new to the community and also to streaming on-line. I am retired and 65, so I have plenty of time to devote to my online streaming. I love playing ATS (American Truck Simulator) and also FS 22 (Farming Simulator 22) so I decided to start a gaming page on Facebook (Cat's Gaming) and see if I could create some enjoyable down time for all the hard working people who are still battling Covid. I have been having some issues with SE-Live when I try to stream thru the gaming creator page, it just locks up OBS, if I go in and check my stream settings, my stream key has been replaced by a whole line full of garbage, and I have to re-enter the stream key and try it again, and it still does the same thing. If I go directly live to Facebook and not go thru the creator page, it works fine. Anyone ever have this problem?

That's what I have been doing, but that by passes the creator page, so you lose some of the abilities to do things with your video before you go live.

i read the pinned messaged and due to facebook new layout, alerts and such no longer work and the option to switch back to classic facebook is no longer an option

after logging in I will be routed back to the site (like I didn't even login) then the url will be like that. I tried logging in with other browsers and still having the same issue. Pls help 😦

Anyone else having issues where the alerts for activity feed seem to just stop an hour or so into stream? I miss alerts for likes, shares, follows but it is working when I start the stream and almost seems to time out or something

@weak heath I am having the same issue. My stream works fine but I can't see my Facebook chat or any alerts and it doesn't show me the boxes to even change stream details. But I can still go love just can't see any alerts or chats

Dropped Frames means that you have a bad connection between your device and the streaming platform and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.

Speed tests usually cannot help solve this problem and its best to use this guide: https://obsproject.com/wiki/Dropped-Frames-and-General-Connection-Issues

If you stream to twitch, use the !twitchtest command and do a connection test to your regional servers.

Currently I am un able to go live through either the fb dashboard and creating a new post with these settings. If I try to go live via dashboard obs completely crashes, and if i try to go live by creating a post with these setting I get an error simply saying oops something went wrong

In my broadcast last night, StreamElements did not detect the follower alert, they did not even appear in the Dashboard, does anyone know how to solve it?
