My understanding (As I don't have a FB page of any kind) is that there is no "waiting" room for FB streams and there's either a stream with chat or not.

i figured out that if you have a separate facebook page (not your profile site only) you can add yourself as Admin then to that page, and then Stream Elements recognizes it as one manageable page and it logs in! It works! Tried it several times now. You dont need to add that page to your companies or assets, just add your real names profile as admin to the new created page (i have a separate streaming page for example).

I added myself to my streaming page as a person with FB access. SE then logged in normally if you choose this page then, cause its one "Manageable page" then for SE.

Hello brother, you just have to remove your page from the business mode. You can find that in a video in Spanish, but just follow the steps and it will let you in. It will let me in.

I have a private profile page on facebook. Then i log in/ change my profile to my gaming page. And there on that page you click on your page logo, settings&privacy, then settings again, and then on the left you see "new page experience".

Try to create a test profile on facebook and see if you can find it then. If yes, compare the settings from your real profile.

So, a follow up, I have looked into my access, My "business" has full control of the page, but still I can't add myself to the "Page Access" section, as my name doesn't appear. No matter how many permissions I've been given, nothing seems to work.
The other suggestion was to remove StreamElements business link with Facebook and put it back on. There's a risk with that, it says you may lose everything with SE, which is something I most certainly will not risk.

So, page access is what I'm after. As mentioned, I was able to log in under a different page which I have "Page Access" to, but somehow (for whatever reason) I didn't have it already on the page I want and use. Without the drop down box, I am stuck, as I have been for nearly one year since it forced me to flip over to the new page experience

Here is what I did a few days ago: I reproduced this issue because i wanted to know if I can add myself as Admin again. I deleted my access to my streaming page and deleted me as Admin via the Meta business site. From this point on, I didn´t have any access to my streaming page, and i could not log in again or change anything again. I lost total control over my FB page. So I had to contact FB via a special link, that is made for people, whos account was hacked, and had no more rights to their page. The link is: https://www.facebook.com/help/contact/1280439701975125 ,from https://www.thomashutter.com/facebook-2-praxistipps-um-zugriff-auf-die-facebook-seite-zu-erlangen (sorry i speak german) On this link I choose "My Admin access was hacked from an unknown user". After that I had to send a copy of my passport to the Facebook support and answer some questions to them (what is your role on that site, whats your real name, what are you creating there, birthdate and so on, printed it out, signed it, and sent it back to them. After an hour or two my profile picture of my gaming page, that was deleted before was back in my list and i was added as Admin again from FB. Everything works fine again, but try at your own risk. If FB does not believe you that you are really this person, they could never let you in to that page you have been admin before. Long story short: After deleting my admin access to my page I acted like someone has hacked my page and asked the support to re-add me as admin to my page. (what they did in my case). @hallow lagoon

im not understanding why people can not login.... create a second account, make it admin, then from the account you just made admin, make you primary account admin with full control... it solves the login problem.

Not sure if i post this here or the selive section. but I have two pages under my private FB account. I only live stream through SE on one(ones gaming, one is not so its live stream is completely different). SE started only letting me use my non gaming page, so i removed my non gaming page from SE, now i cant log in to my FB account through SE anymore. Just says error fetching profile and a bunch of numbers afterwards. Ive done some like, add this person as admin, then remove them and such. but the issue continues to be there. anyone else have a similar issue? i am on the new page experience. i just switched back to it after FB was giving me problems for being on the old page

@weak edge write to the FB support team and ask them to make you admin again for your page you want, then SE lets you login again. Had a similar problem, but I told FB my page account was hacked and want my access back. They set me back as Admin 2 hours after I sent them some documents (passport...)
I can login with SE with no problem anymore.

Just to update on my situation since last time a few weeks ago.

I couldn't add myself to Facebook Access as my name didn't pop up in the drop down box, adding to this I also couldn't make a new account, seemingly every time I tried, no matter the device or browser, it always directed me to a password recovery process instead

My last resort was asking a friend to assist, this meant giving them Facebook Access then trusting them to find me in the drop down box. Thankfully, I was easily found to them, so now I have Facebook Access

Tried to log into StreamElements on their website, and it all works. I can finally edit my merch and anything else again

Had this same issue, it's because you're trying to connect to a page under the new FB "Page Experience", way to fix it is create a brand new/secondary FB account, and give it admin rights to the page, then SE will connect to the page using that new account.

It does work , and also chat works under it as well…. And for the people that don’t know, instead of “going live with Facebook dashboard settings” click the bubble for going live with SE settings and everything should work as it should.

Your “PAGE” must must must give your PERSONAL account FULL access in order for the login, chat, and activity feed issues to be resolved.

Previous issue resolved. Remove the app from your business integration page and redo it. Nearly lost my merch store and all my general overlays that I have grouped in my facebook SE dashboard

In looking for problems with my "missing parameter" login I resolved my issues by removing integration from the facebook end and re-logging in after logging out of everything and closing all windows.

I also saw a method that might be more specific to your issue regarding adding another page as a manager of the page and connecting to that. On your end I assume it would be inverse and you would have to add page management to your original FB for your new page if you cannot unlink it.

-Not an expert, not liable for issues, just using my common sense and what I found spending all day trying to fix mine.👍

Hello, I just want to inform some info that it might help you resolve the events. As I test sharing my stream, Streamelement only get the event for alert, activity feed, etc. when I share with "public" privacy only. When I share with "friends only", nothing happens.

Because its not public, its private when "friends only" is chosen.

Yeah, but it should still be able to show alert. No offense, I mean Streamlab can get the event and show alert without concerning the privacy sharing, so I think there should be an API for Streamelement to show alert too.

Lets say that we don't use the same API endpoints SL uses. This is due to how Facebook works on their side - we are in constant contant with them about a lot of things.

And unfortunately, a person's account's privacy settings affects us greatly and we are aware of it.

Even something like liking the page, can be set to private as far as Im aware.

Then most likely the people that liked and followed your page, have their privacy settings set to private

We don't see those events unfortunately, and we are trying to work with FB on being able to see them.

Hello everyone , so...I’ve been here for the last few days due to some issues I’m having with SE. Some I can deal with but the one issue I really wanna fix is my alerts not showing on stream . On today’s stream I had 128 shares and non of those shares played on stream. I have a really cool animations set for every interaction and it just sucks that they aren’t showing up on stream. This wasn’t the case when I started using SE like a week ago.

Hello FB-Streamers! I am trying to reach my Level Up, and recognized that my games did't Count cause of the missing tag. First i streamed with SLOBS and all was ok (tagged) because i first started SLOBS and then the FB-Dashboard. Now i switched to StreamElements and when i start the stream about Streamelements my FB-Dash my STream seems so start automatically (including the FB-Dashboard Go Live) Button. Ever since I downloaded OBS.Live my streams have suddenly been crashing and frame drop like crazy. Spikes to 60% for no apparent reason. I have reset my router on multiple occasions yet it still happens almost everyday.

The overlay is for Live streaming in the gaming category afaik. So it is made to be added to your broadcasting software like OBS.
